Kemmons Wilson Insurance Group Announces New Leadership

Memphis, TN – May 4, 2016. Kemmons Wilson Insurance Group (KWIG) is pleased to announce Dave Thomas has joined the team as Chief Executive Officer. In that role, Dave is charged with overseeing day-to-day operations as well as tasked with growing the company.

With over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry on both the carrier and agency side, Dave has held several executive roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating and Marketing Officer, President and CEO. Most recently, Dave was CEO of Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, a non-profit property insurer. A few key accomplishments to note from his experience are as follows: he helped develop Monroe Guaranty Companies from a start-up into a Midwest market leader growing revenues from $0 to $150M and for Aspen Holdings, he spearheaded revenue growth from $50M to $513M. Dave most recently relocated with his wife to Memphis from Louisiana.
